Family pictures in a garden of tulips at golden hour – yeah, I think that makes for the perfect combination. It was the first time since my daughter was born that I really took some photos and I was so happy to find that photography is like riding a bike – some things you never forget. 

In quiet St. George, there’s a house with a tulip garden that blooms some of the most beautiful flowers I’ve ever seen. The light hits just perfect through the trees and over the rooftops and the birds are singing again. 

Sometimes for a cool visual effect, I’ll use a weed or flower that I find to hover over the lens to create a dreamy vintage effect which you can see in some of these photos.
