A couple of months ago I took a photography course from the beautiful Tracy Lane photography. A free hour at one of the most beautiful studios (White Space Studios) came with it and I couldn’t wait to get in there.
Maranda and Ashley joined me and while neither of them have that much modeling experience, you’d never be able to tell. I was finally able to take a small break from the “fast food photography” that I’d been so diligently participating in and just create for the sake of creating. Sure, these gave me content I could use but they gave me so much more than that.
I’ve been struggling to find my specific editing style and these were a game changer for me because I used them as an opportunity to focus on that and not to focus on the commercial side of the business.
These also showed me just how much I love jewel tones. If you’ve visited my instagram, @rojophotos recently, you’ll see that there is a new jewel tone theme there because that’s what I like.
